CA signs Condolence Book at US Embassy

Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus paid rich tributes to former US President and fellow Nobel Laureate Jimmy Carter who passed away earlier this week. 

US Chargé d'Affaires Megan Bouldin received the Chief Advisor when he arrived at the Embassy.

Professor Yunus spoke briefly and shared his memories with his long-time friend late President Jimmy Carter. He also wrote a message in the condolence book opened at the US Embassy in Dhaka. 

The Chief Adviser recalled the memory of the late President Carter as a global champion of human rights, democracy and peace and lauded his contributions to deepening bilateral relations between Bangladesh and the United States.
