Armed men abduct 7 passengers, 2 CNG-run rick drivers in Teknaf

Seven people, including the drivers of two CNG-run autorickshaws, were abducted by a gang of armed men from the Hoaikyong-Shamlapur road in Teknaf on Tuesday morning.

The incident occurred around 7:30am, with locals reporting that seven individuals, including the two drivers, were taken by a group of miscreants. The names of the victims have not yet been confirmed.
Sub-Inspector of the Baharchhara Police Outpost Shovan Kumar Shaha said, "After receiving the news, we immediately responded and arrived at the scene."

He said the exact number of people abducted remains unclear; however, they recovered the two autorickshaws from the location.
