DMP files 1,356 cases for traffic rules violation

The Traffic Division of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has filed 1,356 cases for traffic law violation during drives conducted in different parts of the capital.

 The drives were conducted on Tuesday by the DMP's Traffic Division, said Talebur Rahman, DC (Media) of the DMP.

 Besides, 47vehicles were impounded and 47 others were towed during the drives.

 It also announced that such operations will continue to ensure traffic discipline across the Dhaka metropolitan area.    —UNB
