Thailand launches e-visa for Bangladeshis

Thailand government on Thursday launched e-visa service for Bangladeshi travelers to make the visa process easier and more efficient.

According to the Royal Thai Embassy in Dhaka, Bangladeshi ordinary passport holders can now complete the process online at https://www.thaievisa.go.th, receiving their approved visa via email to print and present at immigration.

Due to technical limitations, applicants must pay the visa fee through https://www.combank.net.bd/thaievisa and upload proof of payment, as cash payments are not accepted.

Processing takes about 10 working days and the e-visa will be sent via email within this period.

Meanwhile, Bangladeshi official passport holders exempted from visa requirements from December 19, 2024.
