Primary book distribution programme held in Pabna

PANMA, JAN 2: The Krishnapur Government Primary School of Pabna has distributed books among the students on the first day of the year. 

Deputy Commissioner Md Mafizul Islam, District Education Officer Siddique Mohammad Usuf Reza, Upazila Education Officer M G M Mamud Yesdani and school teachers of the school took part in the programme. 
There are a total of 4,54,891 students of 1,135 primary schools in the district. 

According to office sources, 93% of books of Class 1, 2, and 3 have been distributed, and the remaining classes will get books by next week.
