No dengue death in 24hrs

The country experienced no death from dengue fever in the last 24 hours till Thursday morning. 

The information was given through a press release by Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS). 

During this period, 56 new patients were hospitalised.

Of the new cases, 14 were reported in the Dhaka North City Corporation, while 18 others were hospitalised in the Dhaka South City Corporation.

Currently, 487 dengue patients are receiving treatment in hospitals across the country.

Last year, 575 people lost their lives due to dengue in 2024.
