14 trainee constables relieved from training centre

A total of 14 trainee constables at the Tangail Police Training Centre in Mahera, Tangail, have been relieved on charges of disciplinary violations.

The order signed by Additional DIG Md Mahfuzur Rahman of the Tangail Police Training Center, was issued in this regard on Thursday.

It stated that due to disciplinary violations, they are permanently relieved from training. The order came into effect from Thursday (January 2) afternoon.

Meanwhile, the relieved constables left the training centre on the same night. 

According to sources, on June 24, 2024, a total of 793 constables of 54th batch began their six-month basic police training at Police Training Centre in Mahera of Tangail.

Of them, six trainees were removed earlier due to illness.
