Three brick kilns fined Tk 7.5 lakh in Satkhira

A mobile court here on Thursday fined three illegal brick kilns Tk 7.5 lakh for manufacturing bricks without approval of the Department of Environment and various other irregularities in Sadar Upazila of Satkhira.

The mobile court was conducted by Executive Magistrate Pronoy Biswas in different areas of the upazila.
 
During the drive, three brick kilns were fined the amount.
The fined brick kilns are: MM Bricks, Soudia Bricks and Nit Bricks.

Satkhira Sadar Upazila administration officials and law enforcement members were also present during the drive.
