In a dominant performance at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur, the Chattogram Kings secured a comprehensive 105-run victory over Durbar Rajshahi powered by a scintillating century from Pakistan-origin batter Usman Khan in the seventh match of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) on Friday.

Opting to field first after winning the toss, Rajshahi's decision backfired as the Kings posted a commanding total of 219 for five in their allotted 20 overs despite losing opener Parvez Hossain Emon for a duck in the very first over. Usman stole the show with a blistering knock of 123 off 62 balls featuring 13 fours and six sixes. His innings marked the first century of the season and the fourth-highest in BPL history.

Batting at number three, Usman built a 120-run partnership with Englishman Graham Clark for the second wicket laying a solid foundation for the Kings. Clark's quickfire 40 off 25 balls added to the momentum. Contributions from skipper Mohammad Mithun (28) and Haider Ali (19 not out) provided the finishing touches to Chattogram's imposing total.

Taskin Ahmed stood out for Rajshahi with two wickets, while Sohag Gazi, Shafiul Islam and Ryan Burl claimed one wicket apiece.
In reply, Rajshahi's chase crumbled early as they lost wickets in quick succession. Mohammad Haris provided the only notable resistance scoring a brisk 32 off 15 balls.

Other batters failed to make significant contributions, with Akbar Ali (18), Yasir Ali (16), Sohag Gazi (11) and Ryan Burl (10) being the only ones to reach double digits. The team was bowled out for 114 in 17.1 overs falling well short of the target.

Chattogram's spinners Arafat Sunny and Alis Al Islam were the stars with the ball each claiming three wickets. Pacers Shoriful Islam and Mohammad Wasim shared the remaining four wickets equally ensuring a clinical bowling display.

Usman Khan's explosive century earned him the Player of the Match award highlighting his decisive role in the Kings' emphatic victory.
