Have you been introduced to the word 'Minimalism' before? The word minimalism I heard during Corona pandemic. During this period it has been discussed a lot. This word comes from the Latin word minimus, which means smallest or least.  The word has a deeper meaning in our everyday life.  If you go to Wikipedia, we will know about the minimalism in which it is the concept of visual arts, music literature etc that began in the post war era. My only concern is to talk about the importance of our mental strength and how minimalism creates a good effect on it. If you would like to simplify and declutter your life, you should perform minimalism. Melissa Camera Wilkins, an award winning blogger, says "Minimalism is about an intentional search for happiness."

We cannot deny the fact that people became stuck and could not believe in materialistic views of life during Corona. They started thinking that life does not have certainty and we should not be boasting of our lives about what we have and what we can achieve! Rather we should be satisfied with what we have. Minimalism does not teach us how to be a miser in life! To a certain extent, it teaches us how we can find our happiness to utilize the perfect use of accessories of our life leading, such as using of money, food and others. We don't yearn for confessing the word idea of frugality. Therefore, the expression 'minimalism' creates a soothing sound in our ears! It should be acted upon from our early childhood and our first institution, our family. Parents should practise minimalist ideas minutely before the children so that children will learn them and put them into practice. There is a myth about minimalism that we have to consume less when we execute it! But the reality is diverse. Therefore, it promotes adaptation power in individuals. We make an effort to practise it, but sometimes, our society, our surroundings even though Social Medias have a great impact not to carry out it by the book! We have accepted the idea if we have more, we will be happy. But happiness does not come from exaggeration. Moderately, sometimes, less is more! Conversely, some content creators and influencers are creating videos on this motivational word 'minimalism' which is inspiring indeed.

If any woman wants to empower her mental stability, she should follow the practice of minimalism in which she can enhance her emotional well being. Women should remove unnecessary items from their living and working spaces. A least and tidy surroundings reduces mental distractions and obviously, it promotes the sense of calm and serenity. You should be educated in digital declutttering .If you follow several YouTube channels; you just make the short list what you actually need. Being a woman, if you don't know how to prioritize your task, it's not possible to achieve your ultimate goal. Try to say 'no' when you have to say it for setting up your goals or ensuring your values. You must focus on fewer but meaningful responsibilities that you prefer to do. Every woman should know about the mindful consumption. Sometimes, women love purchasing many items without any reason! So, we should focus on those items that add genuine value to our life. We ought to not find out the happiness for unnecessary possessions rather we should be gratitude for what we already have. If we are not able to simplify our wardrobe, I must say the mental stability will not be ensured! Moreover, many superficial relationships should not be practised rather meaningful connections should be nurtured. The phrase 'love myself" will be our slogan to promote our self care. We should focus on proper sleep, diet, prayer and regular exercise. For enhancing mental stability, we must not scatter our views on showing off something that is not really necessary for us. Unquestionably minimalism removes our anxiety and stress and gives the certainty of mindful living, but psychologists acknowledge that it has some challenges as well. Some do not feel good to achieve it because of loosing possessions that can evoke feelings of guilt, fear and loss. So, psychologists suggest that successful minimalism desires a gradual and intentional state of mind shift. So, once Henry David Thoreau, an American naturalist and philosopher said " I make myself rich, by making my wants few."
