Daulatdia-Paturia ferry services ressume after 8hrs

Ferry services on the Daulatdia-Paturia resumed after eight hours of suspension.

As the fog started disappearing, the authorities resumed the ferry services around 8:30AM on Saturday.

To avert accidents in dense fog, we have suspended the ferry service since 11:30PM on Friday," said Md Khorshed Alam, assistant manager of Daulatdia Ghat of BIWTC.

The light of the ferry marking lights became dim in the thick fog after evening on Friday. For this, the ferry services on the route has been suspended, he added.
