BAU students demolish BCL office

Some students of Shaheed Shamsul Haque Hall of Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) have demolished the office of the banned organisation Bangladesh Chhatra League.

Eye witnesses said around 1AM on Saturday, more than 100 students at first started breaking the office with sticks, bricks, later demolished with bulldozer.

They were chanting different slogans against the BCL during the demolition.

One of the student of Shaheed Shamsul Haque Hall said, "On the anniversary of the banned party, the grave of the Chhatra League at BAU was decorated. We warned to take strict action against anyone who tries to rehabilitate the BCL."
