50 lower court judges will go to India for training

A total of 50 judges from the lower judiciary will go to the National Judicial Academy and State Judicial Academy in Indian state of Madhya Prodesh.

The Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs in accordance with the recommendations by the Supreme Court recently in a gazette notification gave the permission to the judges to go to India, official sources said.
Deputy Secretary (DS) Dr Abul Hasnat of the Law and Justice division of the ministry signed the gazette notification.  

The trainee judges include District and Sessions Judge or its equivalent officers, Additional District and Sessions Judge, Joint District Judge, Senior Assistant Judge and Assistant Judge. 

They will take part in the training courses on February 10-20, 2025 next.

The Indian government will bear all expenses of the training programmes.
