DMP files over 3,000 cases for traffic violations in two days

The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Traffic Division has filed a total of 3,164 cases for traffic rule violations following operations carried out across various locations in the capital over the past two days.

As part of the ongoing crackdown, the authorities also impounded 58 vehicles and towed away 87 others.
The operations took place on Thursday and Friday, with Talebur Rahman, DC (Media) of the DMP, providing the update.

The DMP Traffic Division initiated these drives to enforce better discipline on Dhaka's roads, and similar operations are expected to continue in the upcoming days.
