Eastern University's annual general meeting held

The annual general meeting of Eastern University Foundation was held on Saturday at the university’s permanent campus. 

The meeting was chaired by the outgoing president of Foundation Mr. Ali Azam. The president of Eastern University and the University Foundation industrialist Mr. Moniruzzaman Molla also delivered a speech at the event.
During the meeting Mr. Enayet Ullah, Mr. Imroz Hossain and Mr. Abul Khair Chowdhury, members of the university board, were elected as vice presidents of the Eastern University Foundation for the year 2025. Industrialist Mr. Azizul Islam was elected as the Treasurer.

The meeting reviewed the overall progress of the university and determined the future course of action.
It is noteworthy that Eastern University is a leading private university, approved by the UGC and accredited with a permanent certificate.
