Jubo Dal leader killed in Bogura road crash

A local Jubo Dal leader was killed after being hit by a truck at Nandigram upazila in Bogura district on Saturday.

The accident occurred around 7:45 pm in Goalgari area of the upazila.
The dead was Mehedi Hasan Prakriti, 32, son of Rafiqul Islam of Paschimpara under Nandigram municipality in Bogura. He was a joint convener of Nandigram municipal Jubo Dal.

According to locals, Jubo Dal leader Mehedi Hasan was going towards Nandigram from Hat Karai riding on a motorcycle. At that time, he hit a truck that was standing on road. He was later rescued but died shortly after being admitted to Bogura Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital.

Upazila BNP President Alauddin Sarkar confirmed the information.
