Myanmar national held while smuggling 2.30 lakh Yaba thru Teknaf

Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) has detained a Myanmar national alongwith 2.30 lakh Yaba pills while trying to intrude into the country through Cox's Bazar's Teknaf.

The detained person is Md Abdur Shukkur, 21, son of Saleh Ahmed of Rakhine.
"Getting a secret information that a large shipment of drugs would be smuggle to Teknaf from Rakhine through Naf river, the patrol team of BGB took position there. They found that two persons carrying two sacks coming to beribandh by swimming. The BGB were able to caught one of them, but another managed to flee leaving his sack," said Lt Col Md Ashiqur Rahman, commander of Taknaf Battalion-2.

TYhe detained person informed that he used to come to the country with Yaba pills for a long time.
