Two female passengers got stuck in between the platform gate and the door of metro rail on Sunday morning which delayed the service for 28 minutes.

The incident happened at Shewrapara station at about 9:31AM in the female bogies. The train services were delayed as the automatic system invalid after the passengers got stuck, metro rail sources said.

Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL) managing director Abdur Rauf said, "There occurred technical glitch in the train's gate. For this, the door was not closing. And the services were delayed for 28 hours. We apologized to the passengers."
