New body of BMT Teachers Assoc formed in Panchagarh

PANCHAGARH,Jan 5: A general meeting of the Bangladesh Technical College (BMT) Teachers Association was held on Sunday at a restaurant in the district town. 

The meeting was held with President of Bangladesh Technical (BMT) College Teachers Association and Principal of Panchagarh Bisiknagar Technical and BM College Deldar Rahman Dildar Dilu in the chair.

Atiqur Rahman was declared as the new president while Abu Sufian as general secretary.

Ekramul Haque has been made organizing secretary while Ahsan Habib office secretary.

Principal of Kishoreganj BM Institute Motahar Hossain, Principal of Daudpur Technical and Commercial College Enamul Haque, Principal of Birampur Technical and BM College Salimuddin, Principal of Chatra Science and Technical College Abdur Rab Pradhan, Principal of Ghoraghat Technical and BM College Sadekur Rahman, Principal of Chakbar Khoda Technical and BM College Ziaur Rahman, Principal of Taraganj Technical and Commercial College Abdul Hamid, Principal of Idilpur Technical and BM College Mohammad Khaja Mandal, and Assistant Professor of Chatra Science and Technical College Liaquat Ali spoke at the meeting.

The speakers highlighted various demands including elimination of MPO complications for teaching staff, setting up of labs in every college for quality education, taking training measures to improve the skills of teachers, elimination of complications between technical board and DG, and taking measures to pay EFT salaries. 

Central committee leaders and district teachers were present at the meeting.
