Workshop for teachers held at PUST

PABNA, Jan 5:  A two-day workshop on 'Workshop on ATF Sub-Project Proposal Writing' was held for teachers of Pabna University of Science and Technology (PUST) on Sunday. 

Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Pro-VC) Professor Dr Md Nazrul Islam was present at the workshop as the chief guest.
The resource persons were Professor Dr Md Mostafizur Rahman, director of IQAC- Khulna University, and Professor Dr Md Iftekhar Shams, professor of forestry and wood technology discipline.

Pro-VC Dr Nazrul Islam said, "The Academic Transformation Fund (ATF), funded by the World Bank and the Government of Bangladesh, is a good funding source. The university will provide all kinds of support in obtaining funding through competition. In every case, we have to be proactive, generate ideas and work in a team manner."

If any teacher wants to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with any local or foreign university, a positive decision will be taken by the university, he added.

The workshop was presided over by Director of the university's Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) Professor Dr Md Shamim Reza. 

The overall supervision was made by Additional Director of IQAC Professor Dr Md Nur Alam.
