1,975 cases filed over traffic rules violation in Dhaka

A total of 1,975 cases were filed by eight traffic divisions of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) for traffic law violation in different parts of the capital on Saturday.

Talebur Rahman, Deputy Commissioner (Media) of the DMP, on Sunday said that 55 vehicles were also impounded and 58 others were towed during the drives.

He also said that such operations will continue to ensure traffic discipline across the metropolitan area.
