Minor drowns at Nalitabari

NALITABARI, SHERPUR, Jan 6: A 13-month-old minor girl drowned in a ditch in Nalitabari Upazila of the district on Sunday.

The deceased was identified as Nadia Khatun, daughter of Md Nur Islam Pashchim Kalaspar Village under the upazila.

It was known that Nadia fell in a ditch next to the house at around 3 pm while her mother was busy with household works. 

Later on, the family members found her body and recovered it.

Officer-in-Charge of Nalitabari Police Station Sohel Rana confirmed the incident.
