Fugitive Juba League leader held in Ctg

Police arrested a local Juba League leader in a case filed over attack and murder during the anti-discrimination students movement from Shankar Dewanjirghat area of Chandgaon Police Station on Sunday night.
The arrested man is Md Ershad Alam, a local Juba League leader of North Chandgaon area. 

Md Aftab Uddin, officer-in-charge of Chandgaon Police Station, said,"Alam was involved in several attacking incidents in different areas of the Chandgaon area in the city during the anti-discrimination students movement".

He was accused in a murder case with Chandgaon Police Station on September 20, 2024, the OC added.
