7 brick kilns fined in Khulna

A mobile court has fined secen brisnk kilns worth Tk 13 lakh on a charge of operating their business ignoring direction of the higher court at Dumuria Upazila in Khulna district on Monday.

Momtaz Begum and Asadur Rahman, Executive Magistrates of the Department of Environment (DoE), conducted the mobile court in the upazila throughout the day.

Several officials from DoE and police were present during the drive.
