Eight brick kilns fined Tk 13 lakh in Laxmipur

Eight brick kilns were fined a total of around Tk 13 lakh by several mobile courts in Laxmipur district. 

The information was provided through a press release by Mesba U1 Alam Bhuiyan, the additional district magistrate of the district. 

He said that several mobile courts were conducted in various upazilas in the district from January 1 to January 6. During the drives, a total of Tk 12,80,000 was fined of eight brick kilns, and eight furnaces were destroyed. 

Such drives will continue in the future, he added.
