BPJA-Feni gets new body

FENI, Jan 7: A16-member new committee of Bangladesh Photo Journalist Association (BPJA)-Feni  has been formed for 2025-26 term.

Yasir Arafat Rubel (Dainik Ajoy Bangla) and Muhammad Dulal Talukdar (DBC News) have been made president and general secretary (GS) respectively.

BPJA's President Indrajit Kumar Ghosh and GS Borhan Uddin jointly   approved the new body at the BPJA office at Naya Paltan in Dhaka on Monday.   

Other executive members of the new committee are: Vice-President  Suranjit Nag (Mohana TV), Mir Hossain Rasel (Somoy TV), Joint GS Mirajul Islam Mamun (Bangla Vision), Organising Secretary Nazim Uddin Chowdhury (Dainik Amar Somoy), Office Secretary  Aftab Uddin (Dainik Naya Poygam), Treasurer  Molla Md Ilias (Saptahik Feni Barta), Publication and Publicity Secretary Kazi Nazrul Ialam (Dainik Somoy Sangbad), Sports and Cultural Secretary Mostafizur Rahman Murad (Dainik Feni).   

Executive members are: Mostafa Kamal Bulbul (Daily Tribunal), M Emran Patwari (Dainik Bangladesher Khabar), Abdullah Al-Mamun (Dipta TV), Julhas Talukdar (Somoy TV), Tofael Ahmed Niloy (Desh TV) and Sheikh Ashikunnabi Sajib (Dainik Bhorer Akash). 

General members are: Ziaul Haq (Dainik Fenir Somoy), Md Amirul Islam Rasel (Dainik Feni), Md Shahjahan Badsha Saju  (Ekattar TV),   Jahed Hasan Rony (Jamuna TV), Mozammel Huq Bhuiya Linkon (Dainik Feni) Noor Ullah Kawsar (Dainik Star Line), Harunur Rashid Mridha (Dainik Ajayo Bangla) and Sultan Mahmud Joy (Dainik Amar Feni). 

On December 26 evening, the annual general meeting of the BPJA-Feni  was held in the Sijlar auditorium in the town.
