Bangladesh International Hotel Association (BIHA) has honoured Md Shakawath Hossain with the 'Most Awarded Hotelier of Bangladesh 2024' title, underscoring his trailblazing leadership and visionary contributions to the nation's hospitality and tourism sector, said a press release.
The award was presented by BIHA President Hakim Ali, recognising Hossain as the sole hotelier in Bangladesh to receive Two National and Two International Awards in 2024. The National Awards are: Tourism Face of South Asia at South Asian Travel Award (SATA) 2024 and Hotelier of the Year 2024 at Bangladesh Travel, Tourism and Hospitality Awards (BTTHA) 2024 by Bangladesh Monitor.
The International Awards are: Hospitality Professional of Bangladesh (2024) at TITA by Tourism Association of Bangladesh; Best Hotelier of Bangladesh by Hotel Industry Architecture, Interiors & Management Conference 2024.
With over two decades of industry experience, Hossain's innovative leadership and focus on sustainable practices have elevated service standards across multiple properties. In addition to his hospitality achievements, he was selected as an Official Judge for the World Chefs Culinary Cup Korea 2024-further highlighting his global influence and commitment to showcasing Bangladesh's rich culinary heritage.
