DMP files 2,439 cases for traffic rules violation

The Traffic Division of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has filed 2,439 cases for traffic law violation during drives conducted in different parts of the capital.

The drives were conducted by eight traffic divisions of DMP on Monday, said Talebur Rahman, DC (Media) of the DMP on Tuesday.
Besides, 50 vehicles were impounded and 68 others were towed during the drives.    —UNB
