Man gets life-term for killing teenage girl in Narail

A Narail court on Wednesday sentenced a man to life imprisonment for killing a teenage girl after attempting to rape.

At the same time, the court also fined him Tk  10,000, in default, he will have to suffer six months' rigorous imprisonment.
Narail's Additional District Sessions Judge Md Shahjahan Ali gave the sentence in the afternoon. 

The convict is Babul Bala, a resident of Khalishakhali village under Narail Sadar Upazila.

According to the case statement, the convict Babul Bala failed to rape and killed a teenage girl in February 2010. Later, he threw the body into a river to disappear it. In the incident, the victim's grandfather filed a murder case against Babul with Sadar Police Station.
