Higher Secondary Certifi-cate (HSC) and equivalent examinations of 2025 are scheduled to commence in the last week of June.
Giving the information, Professor Md. Abul Bashar, Controller of Examinations at Dhaka Education Board, on Wednesday said, "Preparations for holding the HSC exams in the last week of June have begun. As part of this, a draft routine is being prepared. We aim to send the proposed routine to the ministry for approval by the third week of this month."
According to sources at the Dhaka Education Board, the HSC exam registration process will start on March 2, while colleges are required to publish the results of the preliminary (selection) exams by February 27.
Traditionally, SSC exams were held at the beginning of February and HSC exams in early April. However, the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted the academic calendar starting from March 2020, delaying exams significantly in subsequent years.
In 2024, HSC exams began on June 30 but were postponed midway due to political movements demanding government changes. After the government transition, the remaining exams were rescheduled to begin on September 11.
