Students of Government Madrasa-e-Alia blocked the capital's Bakshibazar area to remove makeshift court from the madrasa ground which was set up to hold the trail of BDR mutiny.
After whole night of protest, the students have also found took position on the road since Thursday morning, suspending the traffic movement on that street.
They warned that they will remain on the street until their demands are met.
Meanwhile, despite instructions from the law ministry to start the trial today, students barred police and APBN members to enter the makeshift court in the morning.
They claimed the students owned the Alia madrasa field. But the jail authorities occupied the ground illegally for a long time. The students want to free the filed from the jail authorities.
Meanwhile, the trial of BDR (Bangladesh Rifles) Mutiny cases is scheduled to begin on Thursday on the madrasa ground.
