2 killed as bike hits parked truck in Mymensingh

Two motorcycle riders were killed when they hit a sand-laden truck from behind parked at Haluaghat in Mymensingh early Thursday. 

Another person who was seriously injured in the accident has been admitted to hospital.
The accident occurred around 4:45 am in front of the upazila fire service.

One of the dead was Al Aksa, a resident of Dapunia area in Mymensingh city. However, the identity of the other dead could not be known.

Haluaghat Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Abul Khair confirmed the news.

He said that in the thick fog, a bike coming at a high speed suddenly hit a sand-laden truck. The two died on the spot and one was injured. Legal action is underway in this regard.
