DMP files 2,206 cases for traffic rules violation

The Traffic Division of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has filed 2,206 cases for traffic law violation during drives conducted in different parts of the capital.

The drives were conducted by eight traffic divisions of DMP on Wednesday, said Talebur Rahman, DC (Media) of the DMP on Thursday, reports UNB.
Besides, 74 vehicles were impounded and 58 others were towed during the drives.

It also announced that such operations will continue to ensure traffic discipline across the Dhaka metropolitan area.
