OC found dead inside police station in Shariatpur

The body of the Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Jajira Police Station, Al-Amin, in Shariatpur district has been recovered

The body was recovered on Thursday (January 9) afternoon from a room at Jajira Police Station building.

Confirming the matter, Shariatpur Police Superintendent Nazrul Islam said, "We recovered the body from a room in the police station building on information. Initially, it seemed that he committed suicide.''

However, the exact cause the death will be confirmed after autopsy, he added.
