2 held with firearms in Khagrachhari

Joint forces arrested two youths with firearms from Guimara upazila in khagrachhari district on Thursday.

They were arrested them from the Dakther Tilla area in the upazila.

The arrested men are Rubel Tripura Jashim, 20, a resident of Karbari Para in the upazila and Manjur Alam, 21, a resident of Kolabari area.

Acting on a tip-off, a team of joint forces conducted a raid in the area and arrested the duo. They also recovered one LG, seven round bullets, two mobile phones and Taka 1,868.

Legal action has been taken against them.
