2 held with hemp in Kurigram

Police arrested two drug peddlers along with three kilograms of hemp at Phulbari upazila in Kurigram district on Thursday noon.

They were arrested from Kadamtala Chandrakhana border area in the upazila.

The arrested men are Polash, 23, hailed from Pabna Sadar upazila, and Iqbal Hossain, 24, from the same area.

Mamunur Rashid, officer-in-charge of Phulbari Police Station, said that the arrest people have been sent to jail after a case was filed against them under the Narcotics Control Act.
