Army distributes blankets in Pirojpur

PIROJPUR, Jan 9:  A team of Bangladesh Army distributed blankets among shoemakers in the district town on Wednesday evening.
Major Kazi Zahidul Islam of 7th artillery division-Lebukhali Cantonment led the distribution programme for shoemakers at shoemaker's shed near main mosque along the main road in the town. It was attended by local journalists.

A total of 1,500 blankets were distributed in different upazilas.
The programme will continue in the district, he added.

Also under the Lebukhali Cantonment Army,  warm clothes were distributed in  Barguna, Patuakhali,   and Bhola districts.
