JU Chhatra Dal gets new body

A new convening committee of Jahangirnagar University (JU) unit Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) was announced on Wednesday.

Jahir Uddin Babor and Wasim Ahmed Anik have been made convener and member secretary of the new committee respectively
The announcement was made in a press release signed by its central office secretary Md Jahangir Alam with the approval of central President Rakibul Islam Rakib and General Secretary Nasir Uddin Nasir.
The newly formed committee, consisting of 56 co-conveners and 119 members, has been directed to form its full-fledged committee through a conference within 30 days, the press release reads.

Convener Babor and member secretary Anik are the former students of the varsity.
