Forestland recovered in Gazipur

An operation has been recently carried out in Gazipur to recover forestland.

In the Bhabanipur Beat of Bhawal Range, Gazipur, 4.05 acres of reserved forestland were recovered by removing illegal structures.

The information was provided through a press release of the Ministry of Environment, Forest, and Climate Change said on Thursday.

A total of 13 unauthorized houses and a boundary wall were demolished during the operation.

The Forest Department, district administration, and joint forces participated in the successful operation.
