Jajira OC commits suicide in Shariatpur

SHARIATPUR, Jan 9: The Officer-in-Charge of Jajira Police Station in Shariatpur district was found hanging at the police station compound on Thursday.

Nazrul Islam, Superintendent of Shariatpur police said OC Al Amin, who joined the police station in September 24, 2024, used to live at the thana complex.
The colleagues of Al Amin saw him hanging from the ceiling in his room through a window in the afternoon and informed others. Body of an Israeli hostage found in Gaza, possibly alongside his son's remains.
