A Jubo League leader was in a head-on collision between two motorcycles in Pabna's Ishwardi early Friday.
The dead was Tanveer Ahmed Rubel Biswas, 45, of Baghil Sardar Para under Pakshi Union of the upazila. He as an organizing secretary of Pakshi Union Jubo League.
He died at 2 am on Friday while undergoing treatment at Rupashi Bangla Clinic and Diagnostic Center in Ishwardi town.
Earlier, on Thursday night around 9 pm, a head-on collision occurred between two motorcycles in front of Hotel Blue Castle on the Ishwardi-Kushtia Road. Four people, including Rubel and two riders of the other motorcycle, were seriously injured.
They were rescued in a critical condition and taken to Ishwardi Upazila Health Complex. Following doctors' advice, Rubel was transferred to Rupashi Bangla Clinic for further treatment where he succumbed to his injuries at 2 am.
Ishwardi Police Station Inspector (Investigation) Monirul Islam confirmed it.
