Truck driver killed in Sherpur road accident

A truck driver was killed in a road accident in the Jamtali area in Sherpur district early Friday.  

The deceased was identified as Shanto, 15, son of Sheikh Kamal, a resident of Purbo Dhanshail Jamtoli area in the district.
 
It was learnt that the Shanto was heading towards Jhenaigati with a sand-laden truck. The accident happened when the vehicle overturned and plunged into a paddy field in the aforesaid area, leaving him dead on the spot.

M Al Amin, officer-in-charge of Jhenaigati Police Station, confirmed the matter.
