Different rallies were held various parts of the country for demanding a ban on the followers of Maulana Muhammad Saad Al Kandhalvi of Delhi on Friday.

As a part of the countrywide protest rallies, a rally was held at the north gate of the National Mosque Baitul Mukarram under the banner of ‘Ulama Mashayekh and Towhidi Janata’ after the Jumma prayers.

The speakers said, “ Saad followers attacked the Ijtema Maidan On December 1, 2018, injuring a lot of people. Similarly, on the night of December 18, 2024, they again attacked sleeping worshippers. Although a few of them were arrested, they were granted anticipatory bail.”

After a brief rally, a procession was brought out from Paltan in the capital and ended at Malibagh intersection.
