Six killed in road accidents in 4 districts

At least six people were killed and several others injured in separate road accidents in Satkhira, Sherpur, Gopalganj and Cumilla. 

Our Satkhira Corres-pondent reports a teenage girl was killed in a road accident in Satkhira's Sadar upazila on Friday morning. 

The accident happened at Old Satkhira Alia Madrasa area on Satkhira-Ashashuni road in the upazila. 

The deceased was identified as Ashpia Khatun, 17, daughter of Abdus Sabur, a resident of Old Satkhira Colony Para area. 

Our Sherpur Corres-pondent writes a truck driver was killed in a road accident in the Jamtali area in Sherpur district early Friday.  

The deceased was identified as Shanto, 15, son of Sheikh Kamal, a resident of Purbo Dhanshail Jamtoli area in the district.

Our Gopalganj Correspondent adds two teenagers were killed when their speeding bike lost control and crashed into a tree in Gopalganj Sadar upazila on Friday. 

The accident occurred around 10:00am on Friday near Durga Temple on the Gopinathpur-Kholghat regional road in Jalalabad union, confirmed SI Murad Hossain of Gopalganj Sadar Police Station.

Our Cumilla Correspondent reports two motorcyclists were killed and another person was injured after their vehicle collided head-on with a truck in Laksam Upazila of Cumilla on Thursday night due to dense fog.

The deceased was Tabarak Ullah Malu, 42, and Masud, 28, both from Laksam Upazila.
