Daulatdia-Paturia ferry movement resumes after 3hrs

The ferry services on the Daulatdia-Paturia route resumed after three hours of suspension because of fog on Saturday. They resumed at 10:10am after the fog cleared. 

Nasir Mahmud Chowdhury, the Deputy General Manager (DGM) of Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Corporation (BIWTC) Paturia Ghat, said that four ferries were waiting at Paturia Ghat, six ferries were at Daulatdia Ghat, and one ferry was stranded in the middle of the Padma river during the suspension period.

Earlier, the ferry services were suspended from 7:10am to avoid any collisions.
