At least 32 Palestinians have been killed and 193 injured in Israeli attacks across Gaza in the past 48 hours, according to the enclave’s Health Ministry.

A spokesperson for Gaza’s Civil Defence has told our colleagues at Al Jazeera Arabic that Israel aims to kill as many civilians and medical personnel as it can as it continues its devastating war.

Three Israeli military infantry battalions will be sent to reinforce troop numbers in the north of the occupied West Bank, according to Israeli media reports.
The deployment comes amid calls for the annexation of the Palestinian territory by far-right members of the government.

Israel’s genocide in Gaza has killed at least 46,537 Palestinians and wounded 109,571 since October 7, 2023. At least 1,139 people were killed in Israel during the Hamas-led attacks that day and more than 200 were taken captive.
