BCL leader arrested in Bogura

A leader of the banned organization Bangladesh Chhattra League (BCL) was arrested by police in Sherpur Upazila of Bogura District on Friday.

He was arrested from Dasmail Bazar under Garidaho Union at around 12 pm. The arrested BCL leader is Al Mamun, 27, son of Abdul Mannan, a resident of Kalismati North Para area.

Officer-in-Charge of Sherpur Police Station Shafiqul Islam confirmed the matter, adding that Al Mamun was arrested in connection with a case filed on November 2, 2024.
