Two die being hit by bus in Faridpur

Two motorcyclists were killed after being hi by a passenger bus at Madhukhali  in Faridpur district on Sunday.

The accident occurred around 1 pm in front of Majeda Jute Mill at Majhkandi under Madhukhali upazila on the Faridpur-Khulna highway.
The idedntities of the dead could not be known.

According to eyewitnesses and police, the accident occurred when a Faridpur-bound passenger bus beongling to 'Mukta Paribahan' from Jashore ran over a motorcycle parked at a highway police checkpost on duty on the highway.

Confirming the matter, Madhukhali Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) SM Nuruzzaman said, "Two motorcyclists were killed on the spot after being hit by a vehicle. Initially, it was not possible to identify them. The bus has been seized. Legal action is under process."
