One killed in Dinajpur road accident

A man was killed and two others were injured after a truck hit a van at Ghoraghat upazila in Dinajpur district on Sunday.

The incident took place at around 4:00PM in Velaine Bhandaribazar area in the upazila. 

The deceased was identified as Mijanur Rahman, 40, son of Abu Bakar Siddique, a resident of Kulanandapur village in the upazila. 

It was learnt that a truck hit the van in the area, leaving three van passengers injured.
Locasl rescued the injured and took them to upazila health complex, where the on-duty doctors declared Mijanur dead. 

M Nazmul Haque, officer-in-charge of Ghoraghat Police Station, confirmed the matter.
