FENI, Jan 12: A volunteering organisation Mastul Foundation distributed 11,000 kilogram of rice among 1,100 flood-affected families in the district on Saturday.
Through the district administration, the rice was distributed at a function held on the Feni Pilot High School ground in the morning.
Founder of Mastul Foundation and Executive Director Kazi Riaz Rahman presided over the function. It was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Manjurul Ahsan as the chief guest.
Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Sultamna Nasrin Kanta was present as special guest.
Moderated by Mastul Programme Coordinator Kamrul Islam, the function was attended, among others, by former general secretary of Youth Mastul Central Committee Solaiman Hajari, and Mastul's Central Organiser Osman Gani Rasel spoke.
